The Crosstown Trail is a route connecting San Francisco neighborhoods, open spaces, and other major trails. It runs from Candlestick Point in the Southeast corner of the city to Lands End in the northwest corner of the city. The route is usable by both pedestrians and bicyclists, connects many parks, business districts, residential areas, and public transit. The Crosstown Trail is just one part of the city’s Green Connections Plan. It is one of the first to be concretely mapped and made available to the public.Be one of the first to ride the route! We’ll ride from Candlestick Point to Land’s End, which is about 16 miles and 2000′ of elevation. Some flat, some steep… maybe even some short stairs. Mostly roads but, if possible, trails which range from wide and graded to true singletrack.

Gather at “Windsurf Circle” at Candlestick SRA, the south end of the main parking area which can be entered at 500 Hunters Pt Expressway.

Come check it out! More info will be posted as we get closer to the event at crosstowntrail.org
