Pacific Coast Sun Trail

EcoRing is partnering with Sunspeed Enterprises to create the Pacific Coast Sun Trail™, a network of electric vehicle charging stations at lodging and restaurants the length of Highway 1 from Malibu to Mendocino. We encourage our Partners to participate in Sunspeed’s project.

Goal:  A completed EV charging network on Highway 1 from Malibu to Mendocino.

Status: Some charging stations have been installed.

Russian River Electric Trail

EcoRing is encouraging its lodging and restaurant Partners to install electric car charging stations at their businesses along Highway 116 and River Road. We are also encouraging Sonoma County and California State Parks to install charging stations in their parking lots.

Goal:  Each of our Partners will have a charging station for tourists with EVs.

Status:  At least one of our Partners has installed charging stations.  Several others are available near Guerneville.     The County too has installed a charging stations in Guerneville.

The Sir Francis Drake Electric Trail

EcoRing is encouraging its lodging and restaurant Partners along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard from the Larkspur Ferry Terminal to Point Reyes Seashore. We are also pressing the State and Marin County Parks to install charging stations along this route.

Goal:  Charging stations every few miles on Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

Status:  There are many chanrging stations in the urban areas of Marin County near Sir Francis Drake Blvd.  However there are few stations between Manor and Olema.
